The Celtics, after their tough loss to the Hornets, will play the final game of their current home stand tonight against the Bulls. The Bulls currently sit at 22-15. Despite their loss to New Orleans, the Celtics have still looked good recently. With a 20-18 record, the Celtics are tied for seventh place in the conference with the Bucks. The Celtics could use a victory tonight to break that tie-breaker. Here's tonight's five things:
5. GET GREEN INVOLVED:
Jeff Green got just four shots Wednesday night against the Hornets. With the four shots, he got just four points. You can't complain that he's not helping if you're not passing him the ball. Give him a chance.
4. GET LEE INVOLVED:
Lee, like Green, was also ignored a lot against New Orleans. He got just five shots, making one. He scored just four points due to his amount of shots. Someone needs to give him the ball.
3. HOPE PIERCE MAKES HIS SHOTS:
Against the Hornets, Pierce had just 12 points on 5/16 shooting. This team relies so much on Pierce to put points on the board, so he really needs to be successful. He needs to show up tonight.
2. REBOUND:
The Hornets out-rebounded the Celtics Wednesday night 48-33. This was a huge problem for Boston. They lost because they didn't play hard on the boards. Get the big guys to play better.
1. SCORE:
In order to win in the NBA, you have to score points. KG led the C's in scoring against the Hornets with just 15 points. 78 points as a team isn't much better. They must score tonight if they are to beat this tough Chicago Bulls team.
Tip-off tonight will be at 7:00 pm ET. Live Game Updates will be available here. It can be seen on ESPN.
