Rather than keep the rotations consistent as the team tries to build confidence and chemistry, Doc is still mixing it up and trying to find the right combination of players for this team. To that end, Jared Sullinger will be getting his first career start in regular season action tonight with Brandon Bass coming off the bench.
Brandon Bass has been the one player in the starting lineup who has played very well in both games so far so this might seem like a strange move. But, it also might give some cohesion and leadership to a second unit that has been struggling. Also, playing with alongside KG could give Sully some confidence and improve the rebounding for the first unit. We'll see if it has any effect in the win column.
