The Celts were robbed of the win today vs LA. Shocking officiating.

I'm not too confident that we pick up the W on this one, it would be nice but the C's are in great form, despite today's result. Allen's shot is falling and Eddie House is absolutely on fire as of late.
But our Big 3 (+ Fin) will have had four or five days off between games, which always helps a bunch of geriatrics like us. I'd love to match up with these guys in the Finals, TD vs KG on the big stage would be awesome.

Huge measuring stick for the spurs they'll be rested and ready to go

Let's see, it is a Sunday afternoon, nationally televised game. I wish I could be proved wrong but Spurs have a track record of stinking it up during these games.

Tim Duncan will not allow his Spurs to lose this game. Bank on that.

I know they will win this. I know Pop has them ready mentally and physically to win this one....Spurs will win this one by playing better D and rebounding and staying focused for the whole 48 min of hell....It is not going to be an easy task, but Spurs pull out and win this.

Coming from a Laker fan here... This Spurs-Celts game reminds of is how much I despise the Celtics. I NEVER root for the Spurs.. And today I'm rooting for the Spurs almost as hard as I root for the Lakers. Damn, Go Spurs.

It was a travesty that fluke shots awarded KG an NBA champion.
What message are we sending to our beloved children about what it takes to be a champion when a classless, trash talking, cheap shoting, mentally unstable, cuckold is raising the trophy?

Normaly this would be just a regular season game from the Spurs side.

I always expect the best out of the players, but Tony Parker BETTER bring his A+ game after calling Rondo overrated..

I notice this every game the Celtics play in, they are given atleast one or two stretches each game where they are allowed to play super physical on both ends without drawing any fouls on themselves

Gotta feeling, after one qtr, that this could be an instant classic, Spurs winning by a nose, of course.

I hope Pop mentions how the C's run the moving screen offense better than any team in the league! We're in for a long game today I like how many pushes in the back they get away with while crashing the boards too

Spurs fans griping that the opponent plays too physical on defense? My how times have changed.

Bowen usually owns Ray Allen, so this is puzzling, unless Pop doesn't want to reveal his strategy if we meet them in the finals..

How did they miss that travel? That was 3 huge steps Rhondo took. Parker could drive past anyone also given 3 steps.

Class move by the announcers not mentioning how the spurs tanked a season to pick up the Duncan pick

it's official..the Spurs need to fly in Bonner's family every game, so he can play like this more often..

Celtics seem about 5 steps faster than the Spurs on O...even oldster Pierce. Weird.

Can anyone figure out why we keep letting other teams shoot 50%? I mean, the defense does not look that bad, but they are always hitting shots. You even heard the huddle for the Celtics: "they can't stop us from scoring". Has it come to that?

Tony Parker has really disappointed me..he calls Rondo overrated, and then he dissapears vs. Boston.

Pierce gets away with offensive fouls on multiple trips down the lane. Perkins still getting away with murder. Still, Spurs only down by 1 even with the refs in the's C's pockets.

I don't know, the Spurs have gotten a lot of calls their way that were questionable at best. It isn't just the Celtics getting away with stuff. Refs are just bad. Not in anyones pockets

All Celtics are doing is running down as fast as they can off a missed shot and giving it to garnet, like seriously they are rushing every single shot and relying off adreneline right now. They use like 8 secs off the shot clock everytime.

They call Bowen for kicking his leg out on a 3, lol, come on refs He wasn't hurt was he? No harm no foul.

It's like the Spurs have two opponents every night - the opposing team and the NBA refs.

Tony is playing an even game with Rondo..that should never happen..

No big deal for Celtics. They had a tough stretch and have ups and downs. They are still the class of the East IMO.

The Lakers will go as far as Kobe takes them but they are going to hit a bad patch too. If we keep improving on D and stay healthy, we'll have a shot at catching them for 1 seed.

LOL, the last 2 Champions in the league and the Lakers vs Cleveland gets prime time coverage because of Kobe and Lebron..the Last 2 losers. Makes sense.

is there a clutcher team in this soft ass league? damn all we need is 50 wins, and keep the finals games within 3 at the end. and then its money. i mean damn look at the finals favorites, boston and la. next to no expirience off the bench. almost no clutch shooting(none for the lakers). ill go ahead and count the lakers out right now. kobe and fish. all the expirience they have. thats it. celts have eddie, paul, ray and kg. spurs? roger mason jr, bruce bowen, kurt thomas, tim duncan, manu, tony, finley, how many big shots have they made between them. damn.

Am I the only one that felt we got lucky in this win? Bonner needs 23 points. Last 2 and a half minutes we kept having ZERO rotation on KG after the pick n roll and he was getting free shots. Mason clutch 3 along with Bonner somehow getting KG off his feet and then rattles in the free throw line shot. Man even KG busted a 3 after house added one. I kind of got the feeling we got left off the hook on this one and really lucked out on Allen having that ball kind of slip off his hands.
