Ray Allen to Sit Out Against Bucks

The Herald is reporting that Ray Allen will sit out tonight against the Bucks. The Celtics will be without Ray Allen tonight. The starting guard injured his left ankle and heel in a slip and fall during the first quarter of Friday’s loss to Utah and did not play the rest of the night.
Today he came to the arena and did not do his normal pregame shooting routine — a fairly sure sign that he would not be in the lineup against his former team.
He did put on warmup clothes to get treatment from trainer Ed Lacerte. This is the right move, even if he could have played if it was the playoffs, it is best to give it a couple of days and aim for the Spurs where they will need him much more. Also, Bogut will sit out tonight for the Bucks.
