Herald FL's Take: C's Perkins makes a veteran move I really like Perk. He says it like it is and we need his toughness. I see a lot of criticism of Perk's game, but he is filling his role on the team and is doing what the team needs of him. Globe Arenas trashes old view, now praises Celtics Knicks trounce Pistons FL's Take: I really enjoyed watching this. The Pistons are a very arrogant team and they needed to be taken down a notch. I have disliked the Pistons since the days of the Bad Boys when Bill Laimbeer practiced his thuggery. But the new version of the Pistons aren't much more likeable. There are 3 teams I just can't like: the Lakers, the Pistons, and the Bulls. MetroWest Daily News Celtics depth issues exposed by losses FL's Take: We have known from the beginning of the season that depth at the PG spot would be an issue. We have two spots open and I believe that Danny is weighing options and will bring someone in. Right now, Tony is getting experience he will need to get his confidence back to give the team what they need from him in the post season. CelticsBlog Fixing the Celtics LOY's Place Random thoughts ESPN Hollinger's Power Rankings, Celtics still #1 in spite of losses Full Court Press It's a matter of perspective SouthCoast Today Celtics learning to rebound FL's Take: The rebounding, or lack of it, is concerning. Much of rebounding is effort and desire and we aren't seeing either from the Celtics right now. With all of KG's intensity, he needs to focus it on getting into the paint more. Examiner Can the Wizards double their pleasure? New York Post Strictly Cash FL's Take: Hmmmm. Sounds like Pierce has an ego problem. But it isn't as though we didn't already know that. Washington Post Encore in Boston could set a tone Wizards face major challenge Gulf Times Celtics in first slump after loss to Wizards FL's Take: I wouldn't quite call it a slump just yet. They have lost 2 out of 3 but still haven't lost 2 in a row. If they lose tonight, then we can call it a slump. Yardbarker Why the Celtics are in trouble Newsday Heinsohn shares his thoughts on the Knicks RallyTown Celtics can't win on consecutive nights Mr Irrelevant From courtside for Wizards-Celtics in DC Fox Sports Has the league figured out Boston? FL's Take: The league has somewhat figured out the Celtics but it is more a case of the Celtics getting away from what made them so successful early. They are beating themselves more than the other teams beating them. Teams are learning that if they press the Celtics, it takes them out of their game. So far, they haven't adjusted to be able to handle the pressure. But, the Celtics have also gotten away from playing the kind of defense that made them so successful early. They have stopped moving the ball like they did in the beginning. They are also not playing with the energy and hustle that they once did. Eagle Tribune Big Baby, humongous running back Shamrock Headband Still 86% success rate Green Bandwagon Who is out there? Lex Nihil Novi Offer the Glove a 10 day contract I like this idea. What could a 10 day contract hurt? Garnett an all time Celtic great? FL's Take: KG is not an all time Celtic great yet. He is an all time Wolves great, but has not even been a Celtic for half a season and hasn't really done anything here yet. The Celtics need to win a championship or two with him and then we can talk about it. Metro Celtics moving on Patriot Ledger Rondo's all the rage Celtics get chance to settle score with Wizards Red's Army Don't panic
