The Cavalry is Coming... Pierce Shooting Before the Game

The Globe reported tonight that before the game Paul Pierce was on the floor taking shots, playing one on one against Wally, and shooting 3's from around the arc.

Pierce did not elevate to full height on the shots, but both feet were off the ground while shooting. He is able to put full pressure on the foot now without pain. He hasn't been cleared for practice but has been cleared for shooting and some drills. There is no time table for his return but seeing him taking shots is encouraging.
